The Australian Financial Review (AFR) held their annual BOSS Most Innovative Companies List Awards virtually over YouTube live streaming on Thursday 8th October 2020.
The list ranks the most innovative organisations from across industries in Australia and New Zealand and it is the only industry specific list and only national competition of its kind.
eStore Logistics was announced winner of the Retail, Hospitality, Tourism & Entertainment category for its use of AI powered autonomous mobile robot (AMR) system and custom mobile storage unit (MSU).
Many larger retailers have the capacity to invest in their own robotics logistics but eStore Logistics democratises access to this technology. eStore Logistics solution provides enterprise level logistics to retailers of all sizes.
Our AMRs, using AI, can automatically store and retrieve 97% of clients’ Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) range, compared with other technology limited to only automating the storage and retrieval of 75% of clients SKU range – no other robotics implementation in Australia can match this.
This means that automation can be applied to the widest possible range of stock, even down to something as small as a phone cover, or as large as cases of wine or TV’s, enabling the greatest breadth of businesses to benefit. At this time no automatic storage retrieval system in the world can store anything from an Australian sized pallet (e.g. 1 tonne pallet of wine) to a small bin or tote containing an iPhone screen protector.
Utilising this technology eStore Logistics has been able to improve service levels for clients includings faster fulfillment and same day delivery without an increase in consumer pricing.
